Zwide Serves Bass presents: radicis 5PM – 10PM | The ClubHaus, Greenside “Radix — the Latin word for root. Radicis — “of the root,” “of the base.” Black radicalism is the root. Black music is the sound of the root.” Zwide Serves Bass invites you into an immersive live experience celebrating his solo debut album, radicis, a deeply intentional body of work that interrogates (anti)Blackness, resistance, and the global sonic traditions born from these realities. This is more than a performance; it is a return. A grounding. A re-alignment. radicis probes the fractured relationship between Black music and its socio-political origins, restoring it to its true essence, a form that is inherently questioning, dissenting, and liberatory. Set within the intimate atmosphere of The ClubHaus in Greenside, the evening unfolds as both a sonic and conceptual journey, one that invites reflection, movement, and connection to the root. Zwide Serves Bass will be supported by vuyo viwe, whose presence adds another layer of depth to an already textured and intentional lineup.
