About the Artists Lucy Tops A graduate of the Waterfront Theatre School, Lucy Tops is a true triple threat, professionally trained in drama, voice, and multiple dance disciplines. She began her international career performing in China before returning to South Africa to star in numerous productions at Barnyard Theatre, including Dancing Queen, Hollywood Rocks, and Glory Days. Her versatility spans tribute productions such as The Black Ties and Friends, That 70s Band, and Old School Boogie, as well as leading roles in major stage musicals including The Rocky Horror Show, Funny Girl, Kinky Boots, and Shakespeare in Love. Lucy has performed internationally in China and Australia, appeared in films such as Invictus, Black Beauty, and Fractured, and received a Fleur du Cap Theatre Award nomination for Bar None. She is also an accomplished recording and voice-over artist, with music receiving airplay on South African radio and publishing deals abroad. Johan Liebenberg Born in Namibia and widely hailed as “The Neil Diamond of South Africa,” Johan Liebenberg has built a formidable reputation for his powerful voice, charismatic stage presence, and exceptional musicianship. He has headlined numerous hits at Barnyard Theatre, including Diamonds & Pearls, Neil Diamond & Friends, and King of Diamonds. His self-produced Tribute to Neil Diamond continues to sell out theatres across South Africa and Namibia, earning rave reviews and standing ovations. Johan is also the creative force behind acclaimed productions such as The Storytellers and Divas & Divos, both celebrated for their world-class production quality and musical excellence.
